Millennia2015 WeTelemed“Connecting Nurses” and "Millennia2015 WeTelemed" have decided to join their forces and launch the WeObservatory, an innovative Digital Inclusion Platform dedicated to global health challenges, hosted at the Millennia2025 Foundation.
Millennia2015's commitment is to highlight women’s crucial role in the global health and telemedicine arena, and their capacity as builders of alternative futures, based on characteristics such as an innate future orientation, capacity to mediate and to network at all levels, capacity to be social actors, to face natural catastrophes and human conflicts by saving lives and creating solidarity among women. In 2013, five projects of the Connecting Nurses Care Challenge Platform will be proposed for partnering with the WeObservatory. Each selected project will benefit of the Millennia2015 network and communities in countries(2) to expand the activities and ensure the empowerment of nurses’ capacities to use ICTs and telemedicine services. With the WeObservatory, the projects will benefit of an extended visibility, capacity to create new communities of practice in telemedicine for nurses and opportunities to be part of international conferences and publications as appropriate, during one year.
