43rd EDTNA/ERCA International Conference

Connecting Nurses is delighted to have attended the EDTNA/ERCA congress (European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association/European Renal Care Association) in Riga, Latvia, from 09/06/2014 to 09/09/2014.

This congress was the opportunity to welcome you on our booth and present you Connecting Nurses, the e-health handbook in nephrology and our virtual booth, but also to launch our call for innovation in Renal Care 2015. Thanks to our partnership with the EDTNA, you can indeed post your innovative nursing project in renal care from now on in the Chronic Disease category of Care Challenge. Your project, which will be evaluated with other renal care projects by a dedicated committee, may become a Connecting Nurses Favorite and be highlighted during the International Nurses Day in May 2015.

The Connecting Nurses project was presented as well during the symposium of the congress which was held by Sanofi Renal and gathered 900 participants.

During this symposium was presented Phosphorus Mission, a mobile application designed and developed by Sanofi for people with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD). Educational and entertaining, the app helps patients better understand their disease, treatment options, and dietary choices related to their health. Besides, it has received the EDTNA accreditation. It is already available dor download in several countries, directly from the iTunes Store or Google Play.

Thanks to everyone who visited us at the EDTNA congress and who shared with us about renal care and Connecting Nurses. For more information on this disease, through the EDTNA website, and on Phosphorus Mission, visit the Disease knowledge page of Connecting Nurses.
